every year around this time i have the overwhelming urge to play the foo fighters album the colour & the shape like it's going out of style (which it never will). it could be b/c i fell in love with the album several years ago (but also several years after its release) in the winter. i remember wearing these itchy hot pink angora gloves in my old beat up car that had no heat & seeing my breath hanging in the air while singing february stars & driving to school early in the morning.
everlong is one of the best "love songs" of the past couple decades, especially in the rock genre. bizarre but great video, too.
